Parliament Commissions
- The Commission’s tasks and competences are defined by the Wielkopolska Region Status (Resolution no. 16/201/2003 of the Wielkopolska Regional Parliament from 24 November 2003 concerning passing the Wielkopolska Region Status), Chapter 3: Parliament’s Commissions.
- The Commission is obliged to the help Regional Parliament in its works. For this purpose, the Parliament appoints standing and ad hoc committees. These are subordinated to Parliament and submit framework documents together with reports.
- The Commission’s makeup is made of the members only and its President and Deputy President are chosen by the Parliament on the Commission request.
- The commission’s work during meetings according to the framework accepted by the Parliament. Meetings may be attended by other people and their minutes are prepared after each meeting.
- All decisions made during the Commission’s works are made by voting in the presence of at least half of the Commission in an open ballot. Only members of the Commission are entitled to vote.
