MARSHAL’S CABINET

The Marshal’s Cabinet backs up the Board of the Wielkopolska Region and carries out office works such as preparation of proposals for granting Marshal’s Honorary Patronages or joining Honorary Committees. It also organises national holiday celebrations, ceremonies and occasional events with the participation of The Marshal, Deputy Marshals and the Members of the Board.

The Department is responsible for contacting the media, organising press conferences, taking care of the Marshal’s, his Deputies’ and the Board and Office Members’ public appearances, and preparing the promotional and media policies of the Office.

The Marshal’s Cabinet cooperates with NGOs and other institutions within the scope of the Marshal’s public activity. It prepares for Government representatives’ visits and cooperates with diplomatic and consular agencies. It also organises the Marshal’s and Board’s cooperation with public administration, members of Parliament, socio-political institutions, labour unions, local self-government and districts and with regional and national self-governmental organisations.

One of the key tasks of the Marshal’s Cabinet is to initiate and carry out foreign relations and to plan and effectively promote the Wielkopolska Region in other regions of Poland and abroad. It also coordinates tasks concerning Wielkopolska Region membership in international associations.

The Marshal’s Cabinet also conducts promotion of the Wielkopolska Region and is also responsible for the Wielkopolska Region Marshal’s relations, as well as his Office public. It prepares the territorial marketing strategies of the Wielkopolska Region and informs its inhabitants about the Marshal, Regional Board and the Marshal’s Office’s works via its own website, and prepares its own publications and informational and promotional campaigns.
