DEPARTMENT OF THE IMPLEMENTATION OF REGIONAL OPERATING PROGRAMMES

The Department is the executive body of the Wielkopolska Region Board, which manages the implementation of the Wielkopolska Regional Operational Programme 2007-2013. The Department creates managing and financing policies for particular projects of the Wielkopolska Region under the WROP Priorities 1, 2, 4, 5 and 6. These include the Competitiveness of enterprises, Communication Infrastructure, Revitalisation of Problem Areas, Infrastructure for Human Capital and Tourism and the Cultural Environment.

The Department prepares projects for beneficiaries, such as binding interpretations of the “WROP Priority Axes Detailed Description” and give them answers on the programme implementation procedures.

The Department implements selected elements of the regional contracts and is responsible for duties resulting from its participation in the management of the Integrated Regional Operational Programme (IROP) until it is finished.
