DEPARTMENT OF FINANCE

The Department of Finance works on the entirety of issues concerning the Region’s finances. It prepares the Region’s budget, ensures finance and accounting services of the Region’s budget, runs the accounting books, organises and supervises the correctness of the books by the budget’s resource holders, prepares financial and budget reports, and conducts the evidence of the Regions’ income and expenses. The Department also transfers subsidies for consigned and own tasks of self-government  units and controls formal and accounting settlements submitted from use of subsidies.

One of the most significant tasks of the Department is commenting on legal acts and agreements which result in financial obligations for the Region, and the drafting of financial bills.
