DEPARTMENT OF CONTROL

The Department of Control exercises internal control of the Office. It supervises the work of the Regional self-governments’ institutions and those others which implement Regional Self-Government works. The Department’s duties are, among other things, preparing annual control plans, including controls carried out by other Departments of the Office in the subordinated institutions; analysing post-control materials; preparing speeches and other documents on controls. The Department is also responsible for preparing semi-annual and annual reports on controls implemented by the Office.

In the process of implementation its tasks, the Department cooperates with external authorities which themselves control the Office, e.g. it prepares post-control proposals analyses. It also prepares draft responses to the post-control recommendations and runs the registry of authorisations for carrying out such controls.
