DEPARTMENT OF ADMINISTRATION
This Department is the administrative base of the Office. One of its most important tasks is handling of fiscal and accounting services. The other is running the general chancellery of the office and supervising external issues. This means that the Department is responsible for, among other things, office leasing agreements and punctual payments from the Office, such as for postage or telephone bills.
The Department of Administration is also responsible for logistics: it supplies the Office with the necessary office equipment, runs the fixed assets files and the Office archive (with the law archive as well), and also supervises the cleanliness of the Office and provides adequate protection from burglaries and data theft.
The Department also standardises and improves the process of planning and submitting reports from the Office, and is also responsible for all health and safety issues.
Their other important task is to ensure the proper functioning of databases and e-documents rotation applications, to administer the network, electronic mail and remote access to IT data., and it is the IT and Telecommunication section which is responsible for all those tasks. What is more, the IT Department is responsible for the implementation of current safety policies, for administering and managing the servers hosting the website and for the publication of information in the Public Information Bulletin.
