The Chancellery of the Regional Parliament

The Chancellery is the Marshal’s Office of the Wielkopolska Region in Poznań, and is in charge of implementing organisational and office tasks of the Regional Parliament, commissions and the Member’s parties and preparing the annual plan for the Parliament and its commissions' works. It also maintains the registers of the Regional Parliament’s work, consisting of the Parliaments resolutions, the commissions’ proposals, interpellations, questions asked and the Parliamentary Members property statements.

One of the crucial tasks in the Chancellery’s work is implementation of Parliamentary resolutions, proposals and Members’ interpellations. The Department is also responsible for sending to the Marshal the Parliaments’ resolutions and interpellations, questions asked by the Members and the commissions’ proposals, and passing on Parliamentary proposals (local government acts) to the appropriate promulgation authorities, the Governor of the Wielkopolska Region and to the Regional Accounting Chamber if applicable. The Chancellery supervises implementation of Parliament’s proposals by the Marshal’s Office Departments and regional self-government organisational units and is responsible for collecting and storing the documentation of the Parliament works, including: Parliament’s resolutions, commissions’ proposals, Members’ interpellations and protocols from the Parliament sessions and commissions’ meetings.

The Department also carries out works with the Region’s membership in the Union of the Voivodeships, and concurs with the Regional Branch of the National Electoral Office during elections to the Regional Parliament and during the changing of Members.  It is also the publisher of the “Monitor Wielkopolski” magazine.

3. “Monitor Wielkopolski” Self-Government Magazine Editorial Staff,
4. The Parliament’s sessions maintenance position,
5. The Commission and the Parliament’s Members Club department, including:

• The Commission Maintenance of numerous positions,
• The Parties Maintenance of numerous positions.
