Krzysztof Andrzej Grabowski
Was born on 9th September 1973 in Kalisz. He graduated from the Secondary Technical School of Agricultural Mechanization in Lisków with a diploma of a technical mechanic, and later from the Adam Mickiewicz University in Poznań, the school of political science, with a major in regional government administration and European administration.
For 16 years (1994-2010) he was a commune councillor, and for 12 years (1998-2010) he was the chairman of the Commune Council in Ceków Kolonia.
Krzysztof Grabowski worked as a spokesman at the Higher Vocational State School of President Stanisław Wojciechowski in Kalisz. For many years, he also worked as a journalist for the Radio Centrum Kalisz and a reporter of the Polish TV Poznań Branch, as well as the "Teleexpress" news programme and the RMF FM radio station.
He was five times honoured by the National Labour Inspectorate in Ostrów Wielkopolski and awarded with a medal „For Distinguished Service for Labour Protection” by the Chief Labour Inspector. In 2010, he completed several courses including a pedagogical course and the 18th School for Civil Society Leaders. It is a prestige school created and run by Prof. Zbigniew Pełczyński from Oxford.
As a councillor and a chairman of the Commune Council, he successfully accomplished numerous projects, including a construction of the Household Hazardous Waste Neutralization Plant “Orli Staw”, which is now used by a number of communes from the Wielkopolska and Łódź regions. Other projects included building treatment plants, as well as sewage network and water supply systems on the area of the whole commune, also projects for the construction of commune and district roads (joint projects). Grabowski actively participated in the works for modification of the Kalisz – Turek regional road number 470. During his term as the chairman of the Council, Grabowski established partnership cooperation in the fields of education, culture and sport with a commune Amtsberg, Germany.
On 21st November 2010, during the election to the Local Assembly of the Wielkopolska Region, he won a mandate of a councillor from the list of the Polish People’s Party (PSL). On 1st December 2010, following the motion of the Marshal of the Wielkopolska Region, the Local Assembly of the Wielkopolska Region appointed Krzysztof Grabowski Member of the Board of the Wielkopolska Region.
Grabowski has been also involved in many public activities, including the District Board of the Polish People’s Party (PSL) in Kalisz. He is also a member of the Regional Board of PSL in Wielkopolska.
Tomasz Bugajski
Born on 16 June, 1941, in Nietulisk Fabryczny - graduated from the Higher School of Pedagogy in Bydgoszcz in the field of the Pedagogy of Work. Graduate of the Poznan School of Banking, postgraduate studies in the scope of law-making in Local-Government Units.
In the 60's and 70's he was employed by the Przedsiębiorstwo Renowacji Zabytków (Restoration of Monuments) in Kraków, the Industrial Fat Plant in Bydgoszcz and by a company involved in Electrical Engineering and Technical Services in Agriculture. In the following decade he worked as a deputy director of the National Centre for Engineering in Wyrzysk, then he moved to a Horse Stud Farm in Dobrzyniewo where until the late 80's he served as the chief investment officer. In the meantime, he ran his own business. He was also a member of Supervisory Boards of Cooperative Banks, and a member of church organisations, associations, social committees for the construction of public buildings and many others.
In 2001 he obtained a diploma of a candidate for the supervisory boards of companies of the State Treasury. In the years 1998-2002 he was a member of the the Local Parliament and a member of the District Board of Pila.
In 2005 he was appointed Chairman of the Board of Directors of Wholesale Market Management in Pila and then on 27.11.2006 he was appointment by the District Council in Pila as the staroste (elder) of Pila, a post he held until 2.12.2010.
Political activity
The head of the Civic Platform in Piła County, a member of the Wielkopolska Region Board, and a member of the National Council of Civic Platform. He currently serves as Member of the Board of the Wielkopolska Region.

- The Ad Perpetuam Rei Memoriam commemorative medal - in recognition of his contribution to the development of the Wielkopolska region
- The Wojciech Celichowski Medal - as a reward for his work for the the Wielkopolska Region, given by the Voivode
- The Golden Badge of Honour - in recognition of long-term activity for physical culture and tourism in rural areas, given by the Association of the People's Sports Teams
- The National Education Committee Medal - in recognition of his contribution to the development of secondary and special education in the District of Piła
- The Silver medal "Labor omnia vincit" - given by the H. Cegielski Association
- He is a twice winner of the "VIP with class" and "Man of the Year" polls awarded in 2006, 2008, 2009 by Tygodnik Pilski and Głos Wielkopolski magazines
He is interested in Local Government, specifically in the law-making process and financing of Local-Government units. His hobbies are shooting and fishing. He is a member and a representative of the national authorities of the Krukowe Shooting Fellowship. He spends his free time in the philharmonic concert halls or at the theatre. He is married to his wife Eligia with whom he has three daughters, Katarzyna, Joanna, and Izabela. He is also a proud grandfather of six grandchildren.
